Our Story
Seugagogo Aoga Amata Pre-School originated in the early 1990s as a modest playgroup in Auckland’s Ōtāhuhu.
Founded by the wives of ministers from the Ekalesia Fa’apotopotoga Kerisiano Sāmoa (EFKS), Seugagogo Aoga Amata Pre-School aimed to immerse their children in Gagana Sāmoa. Pereise Penn, originally one of the children and whose mother helped establish the school, now contributes as a supervisor and teacher. Despite the sector’s evolution towards greater professionalisation and demand, the school’s dedication to preserving and enriching Samoan culture continues to inspire its mission.

Our Culture
At Seugagogo Aoga Amata Pre-School, our culture is deeply rooted in the values and traditions of Samoa. We prioritize the preservation and teaching of Gagana Sāmoa, ensuring that our children connect with their heritage from an early age. Our community-focused approach fosters a nurturing environment where respect, family, and communal support are paramount. This cultural foundation not only enriches our educational programs but also strengthens the bonds within our community, celebrating our heritage while preparing the next generation.
