Gogo Sina
In Samoan culture, the Gogo Sina is notable for its elegance and the difficulty of catching it.
Just as young birds are nested and nurtured in the thicket of Seugāgogo, so is the service and care prepared by Seugāgogo Early Childhood Education, to provide a safe haven for the children of the nation, to nurture, cultivate, and groom them until they are ready to fly away.
Seugagogo
Seugāgogo is the game played by ancient chiefs and royalty. It is no longer practiced today, but it gives its name to the thicket near the village of Vailoa Palauli, where birds nest and raise their young until they are strong enough to fly away.
It is with clear vision that the school is named Seugagogo Early Childhood Education, reflecting the nature of the environment, which fosters and nurtures the child’s life in their language, customs, culture, and Christian beliefs as a Samoan.
The primary goal of Seugagogo Early Childhood Education is to thoroughly prepare the child in all areas, especially their native language, to ensure a strong and successful entry into secondary education and their future.
